Golden Momentum - modern painting

The modern painting “Golden Momentum” draws inspiration from the idea of ​​movement, development and progress. The composition is centered around overlapping, elongated shapes that create a sense of dynamism and constant change.

The white background provides a clean and clear foundation for the painting, from which the shapes created with structured paste almost emerge into space. The partially overlapping shapes are reminiscent of movement: as if energies coming from different directions meet and then move forward together in a new direction.

The special character of the painting is given by the structured surfaces. The shapes that stand out in space provide not only a visual but also a material experience. The surface constantly reveals new details under the influence of changing lighting conditions, so the painting shows a slightly different face at every time of the day.

Although my painting “Golden Momentum” is one of my earlier works, it already shows the theme that will return in my later works: the search for light, the presence of hope and the discovery of the possibilities inherent in change.

The painting:

• original work hand-painted on stretched cotton canvas measuring 40 x 40 cm, the canvas is pinned to the back of the frame, the side of the canvas is also painted,
• textured surface created with structure paste, painted with quality artist acrylic paints: white, antique gold, light gold,
• the surface of the painting is coated with UV-resistant, satin gloss varnish.

This painting is a unique, handmade original work. The signature of the painter, Erika Dékány, can be found on the back of the painting. The painting will be delivered with a certificate of origin.
